BetStudy Review: How Accurate Is It Really?

Audit ongoingSee our methodology and our own record
tracked accuracy

Verdict: BetStudy positions itself around statistics: league tables, form guides, head-to-head data, all before it even gets to a prediction. That's a sensible structure, and it means you can do your own homework on the same page. The BetStudy prediction itself, though, sits at the end of all that data with no visible record of how often it's actually been right, which undercuts the credibility the stats pages were building.

NomaPlay is running a tracked audit of BetStudy's picks, recorded before kickoff and settled against final results to keep the record honest. We are not stating an accuracy percentage for BetStudy here, because we don't have verified numbers worth publishing yet.

What BetStudy offers

A stats-first football portal: league standings, team form, head-to-head history, goal-scoring trends, plus daily predictions layered on top for the major markets (1X2, over/under, both teams to score). Coverage spans a good number of leagues. Nothing is locked behind a paywall. It's a decent one-stop page if you want raw numbers before you decide anything for yourself.

How its predictions work

The prediction appears to be derived from the same statistical inputs shown on the page, which is at least transparent in spirit, you can see the ingredients even if the exact recipe isn't spelled out. That's better than sites that just assert a pick with no visible working. Still, transparency of inputs isn't the same as transparency of results, and BetStudy doesn't show a track record of predictions against actual outcomes anywhere we could find.

Worth flagging directly: this pattern, show the stats, hide the scorecard, is common enough across this whole category of site that it stopped surprising us a while back. It doesn't make BetStudy worse than its peers. It just means the same scepticism applies here too.

Strengths

Genuinely useful raw stats, presented clearly. Broad league coverage. Free access with no forced signup. Good starting point for your own analysis even before you look at the prediction itself.

Weaknesses

No settled-picks archive. No stated accuracy rate. Limited acknowledgement of league-specific quirks, mid-table FKF Premier League fixtures, for instance, are notoriously low-scoring in a way a generic goals-average model won't necessarily catch.

Also worth noting for anyone betting late European fixtures: kickoffs around 22:00 to 23:00 EAT often happen well after a prediction page was last updated, so late team news can go unaccounted for.

How to use it responsibly

Use the stats tables to build your own view rather than deferring to the final prediction line. Check team news yourself close to kickoff, particularly for late-starting matches. Be sensible with stake sizing on multi-market bets, splitting a stake into two KSh 50 wagers on separate slips costs more in M-Pesa fees than one KSh 100 bet, a small leak that adds up. Betting is for over-18s only; stick to a budget and stop the moment it stops being fun.

Frequently asked questions

Is BetStudy reliable for predictions?

There's no independently published win-rate record on the site to confirm reliability. NomaPlay tracks prediction sites, including BetStudy where possible, on our own audit page.

Is BetStudy free?

Yes, the stats pages and predictions are visible without payment or forced registration.

Does BetStudy cover Kenyan football?

Coverage exists but is thinner and less consistent than for the major European leagues.

Should I rely on BetStudy's prediction over its own stats?

Read the stats first and form your own view. The final prediction line is one opinion built on those numbers, not a verified conclusion.
