NomaPlay started because we got tired of prediction sites that only remember the wins. About NomaPlay, in one line: we log every football prediction before kickoff, we publish every result, and we let the record speak. No cherry-picking. No quiet deletion of a bad week. If you have ever screenshotted a tipster's slip because you suspected it would vanish after a loss, you already understand why this site exists.

Why verifiability is the whole point

Kenyan bettors get pitched "sure odds" and "guaranteed" slips constantly, on WhatsApp, on Telegram, in comment sections under every match preview. Most of it cannot be checked. A pick posted after the fact is not a pick, it's a story. So every tip on NomaPlay carries a publish timestamp and stays untouched after that. We don't edit picks once they're live, and we don't quietly retire markets that go cold. The SportPesa Mega Jackpot runs a 17-game slip, and picks like that get the same treatment as a random Tuesday FKF Premier League fixture: logged first, judged after. Win or lose, it goes on the record.

Who's actually writing this

A small team of Nairobi-based bettors and editors. We stake our own money on some of the markets we cover, which keeps us honest about things like transaction costs. Two KSh 50 bets can cost more in M-Pesa fees than one KSh 100 bet, and that kind of detail matters more to us than it does to sites written by people who've never placed a bet themselves. We also cover bookmaker reviews and jackpot pages, and we're upfront that some of those pages carry affiliate links. That relationship is disclosed on every page it applies to, not buried in a footer nobody reads.

What we won't do

We won't tell you a match is fixed. We won't promise a guaranteed outcome, because there isn't one in football, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something. What we will do is show our working: confidence framed as probability, reasoning behind each pick, and a running track record you can audit yourself on the track record page. Some nights the unders on a low-scoring FKF match land exactly as expected. Other nights a 90th-minute goal wrecks a perfectly reasonable read of the game. Both go in the book.

Betting responsibly

You must be 18 or older to bet in Kenya, and betting can become a problem even when the analysis behind it is sound. Set a stake you can afford to lose before kickoff, not after. If it stops being fun, stop.
